| Palestinian activist in the Student and Trade Union movements, Omar Faris was arrested several times. He was also an engineer in a Gulf Oil refinery before being expelled from it because he is palestinian. President of the Poland-Palestine Association and of the Arab Culture Association in Poland, he has been active in the International Coalition for the Right of Return of the Palestinian Refugees, and as a member of the direction of the Polish Committee against the War in Iraq. |  |
